Title and date devised from Library staff. The plaque is stamped Rafael Rus Acosta, 26. Old label on the verso the photograph, "Emilio ruiz, Casa Linares" and "Granada, Alhambre, 64". Arabic script carved on the upper and lower part of the frame "لاعلى الا الله".

Alhambra painted gesso plaque depicting a mihrab and four windows above, decorated in gilt and polychrome in the Nasrid style, with a black and white Orientalist style photograph as a background, mounted in an "Arabesque" parquetry wood frame. The photograph is a staged souvenir picture showing three women with oriental costumes and musical instruments.
